2. What we collect
- Buyers: your name, email address and password when you register; the kind of home and area you are looking for if you tell us; the developments and homes you save; whether you opted in to alerts.
- Developer users: your name, work email, job title and password; your company's details and verification evidence; the listings, media and statistics in your panel.
- Everyone: technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you request, kept in server logs for security; your cookie choice; and, when you reveal a sales phone number, the fact that a number was revealed for that development.
3. Why we use it and on what basis
- To run your account, show your saved items and let developers manage their listings: performance of our contract with you.
- To send buyers alerts about launches and releases they asked for: your consent, which you can withdraw in your account at any time.
- To verify developers, keep the site secure, prevent abuse and produce listing statistics: our legitimate interests in running a trustworthy portal.
- To measure site usage with analytics, where you have accepted it: your consent.
4. Who we share it with
- We do not pass buyers' details to developers. When you phone or email a developer you share your details with them yourself, and they become responsible for that data.
- Developers see aggregate statistics for their listings (views and number reveals), never who viewed them.
- We use hosting, email and similar service providers who process data on our instructions, and we may disclose data where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open and for up to 12 months after it closes, in case of queries, then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept for 90 days. Listing statistics are kept in aggregate form.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, and take it with you, by contacting [email]. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would welcome the chance to resolve any concern first.
